Committee Structure
The Investments Committee is made up of students from all majors (Business, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) and backgrounds. We are currently ~100 members and recruit new members in the Fall and Spring.
Promotions happens each semester which allows for quick upward movement if students perform at a high level. The current Senior Directors, who hold year long terms, decide on the promotions.
There are 3 Senior Directors that monitor the organization as a whole and 8 Directors who form the Investments Decision Group (IDG). They vote each week to decide on changes to the portfolio.
There are 12 Sector Heads who manage a group of 7-10 Senior Analysts and Analysts. Sectors have weekly meetings to discuss market trends and the presentation pipeline.
The Portfolio Group was formed in Fall 2020 and is led by the Director of Portfolio. A Senior Analyst from each sector is nominated by the Sector Head to meet with the Director of Portfolio to discuss earnings and the direction of the portfolio.
