Senior Directors

The 3 Senior Directors of the IC also sit on the 16 person Board of Trustees for the Georgia Tech Student Foundation. They are selected for year long terms and choose the new leadership for the Fall and Spring. Each quarter, they report the performance and makeup of the portfolio to the Georgia Tech Foundation. They manage the IC as a whole and are responsible for maintaining the well being of the organization. Each senior director is also paired with a sector to help provide guidance.

As SMD, Martin is in charge of managing the IC as a whole from administrative to portfolio work. His goal for the year is to emphasize finding undervalued opportunities and encourage strong research from the IC while creating a more inclusive and diverse atmosphere.

As SFD, Phoenix is in charge of portfolio implementation and reporting performance to our stakeholders, GTF, and GTSF. She also serves on the GTSF Board of Trustees where she helps allocate funds to student organizations.

As MaL, Sahil sits on both IDG and board of trustees as a voting member. He authors the GTSF monthly newsletter to keep all committees up to date on recent developments.

Investments Decision Group

The Investments Decision Group, or IDG, is selected each semester and is responsible for executive decisions related to the portfolio. They are the sole holders of the investment voting rights and vote weekly on presentations to maintain the portfolio. They help facilitate the continual education of the organization and are paired with a specific sector to provide oversight.
